Hi Ottawa – are you still hibernating? Spring kicks off tomorrow and we want to help you break out of winter mode. Let’s celebrate this new season with a Panoramic Properties blog post focusing on local food options around the city. As things get growing, there will be more and more available so keep in mind that not all of these locations may be in full swing just yet. We hope this serves as a great springtime resource to all residents in our Ottawa apartment community.
This organic market is open all year round. Grab an organic fair trade coffee and browse the many vendors. We recommend chatting with the farmers and artisans for great advice on health and nutrition. The Ottawa Organic Market is a full service market, so bring your own bags and stock up on fresh local foods no matter the season.
Open Year-round, Saturdays: 10:00am-2:00pm
Canada Care Medical Centre (located behind the Canadian Tire), 1644 Bank Street, Ottawa, ON

Mmm, we can’t write about local food offerings without mentioning our favourite, Maple Syrup! Ottawa is currently hosting the Maple Sugar Festival with fun-filled activities for all ages. With pancakes, sugar shack brunch, sleigh rides and live entertainment this is a perfect way to send off winter and welcome spring. On top of the delicious Ottawa region syrups you’ll also find a 1k and 5k run and maple taffy!
Offerings: Maple syrup, maple syrup and more maple syrup!
