Halloween at Dynamic Earth
Bring the family to Halloween at Dynamic Earth for some spooky family fun. There will be live animal shows featuring some creepy (but loveable) animals. Meet live bats at A Very Batty Show. It entertains and teaches families about the extraordinary adaptations of these fascinating flyers. Face your fears of creepy, crawly, slithery animals with; Animals That Give Us The Creeps! Once you make it out alive, treat yourself to Halloween snacks at Copper Cauldron Café, stroll through the pumpkin patch, and share some stories around the campfire!
Check out Jack O’Lanterns taken to the next level at Pumpkinferno! Dress warmly, as it will take 30 to 45 minutes to complete the walk along the trails and fully appreciate the over five thousand hand-carved pumpkins. Even the sets themselves are made from individual pumpkins. It’s a family-friendly, spooky celebration of creativity.
Tunnel of Terror
If you are looking for something more intensely scary, you can descend seven storeys below the surface of the earth to take in The Tunnel of Terror. This experience is recommended for people 12 and over (children under 6 are not permitted) It’s Canada’s only underground Halloween experience and it’s right here for you at Science North. It’s only minutes away from several Panoramic Properties, such as: Hyland Place, Ramsey View Court and Southend Apartments.
The Terror Train
The Terror Train is one of the most terrifying attractions in the country. It must be experienced to be believed! The train runs at the Northern Ontario Railroad Museum & Heritage Centre on Friday and Saturday nights in October. It’s not for the faint of heart. Children under 12 must be with an adult. Dress for the weather!
