The Ministry of Coffee
The Ministry of Coffee has two distinct locations to choose from. The small and cozy original space ( 279 Elgin Street) opened in 2013. It’s a great spot for a quality cup of coffee. The second location, in Hintonburg at 1013 Wellington Street West, features a bigger seating area and it’s own unique vibe. This location has a fully stocked whiskey bar and serves local beer and wine from 11 am. Small plate service begins at 6 pm,and coffee service continues until midnight. It’s a great spot for a coffee and a treat in the morning (try the peanut butter and jam cookie) or an evening drink with friends.
Everything about Arlington 5 (5 Arlington Ave) is cozy. It’s located in a cute little house, so it feels comfortable and unpretentious. Inside it’s elegant and cozy. They have friendly staff, great coffee and amazing sandwiches. Try the breakfast ham sandwich to start your day off in the right foot. This is the kind of place you want to hunker down with a book on a rainy day. It’s only about 10 minutes from Baseline Court (1785-1815 Baseline Road) .
Equator Coffee Westboro
Stop by Equator Coffee Westboro (412 Churchill Avenue North) for a warm and homey experience. The shop has great staff and tasty treats. It’s only 10 minutes from Baseline apartments. The space offers big comfy chairs, chill music and lots of little spots to hide away and curl up in. The Chai Latte is perfectly spiced and there are lots of vegan and gluten-free baked goods to sweeten your day.
