Tis the Season: Celebrating the Holidays in Sudbury

We’re taking a break from the festivities to wish you all a very Merry Christmas from Panoramic Properties! Admittedly, while we write this, we’re streaming the Yule Log on TV (the next best thing to a real fire) and sipping on some hot chocolate.

Today, we’d like to extend a special holiday greeting to our residents in Sudbury. Christmas inNorthern Ontario is a unique experience. The holiday spirit hangs in the crisp northern air and the night sky is lit with nature’s own Christmas lights. What does Christmas look like in your part of Ontario; is it a white Christmas or are things a bit milder?

No matter the weather, Christmas brings a set of traditions unique to every family.  For my family, our tradition is cemented in Christmas brunch. Although we’re spread across the country, four generations will gather today for an amazing spread and to open stockings and presents. After the wrapping paper is cleared we’ll watch A Christmas Story together. Even after decades of watching this film we still laugh like it’s the first time.

What traditions do you and your family uphold every year? What do you find special about spending Christmas in Sudbury?

Give yourself the gift of a new Sudbury apartment for 2013! Panoramic Properties’ Commodore Apartments (1140 Ramsey View Court) are the perfect place to call home. The property includes spacious bachelors, one and two bedroom suites with gorgeous upgrades. Rental upgrades include new flooring, cabinetry and on-site laundry. The apartments are close to Laurentian University, shopping centres and Bell Park and Ramsey Lake.
