Check out the culture on Brock’s campus

Brock University (500 Glenridge Avenue) is less than a ten-minute drive from Front Street Apartments (40 Front Street). The university boasts the newly built Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts located in downtown St. Catharines. The building is set to open in 2015. A night at the theatre

 

See a show at Brock University. The Department of Dramatic Arts produces many unique performances throughout the school year. Next up will be the One Acts Festival and the Theatrical Design Exhibition. There will also be a community theatre production. Music at Brock

 

Attend a music event with the entire family. Even though the school year is winding down, the music department at Brock University has many recitals and concerts left on the calendar. On April 5th, the Brock University Choirs will be performing under conductor Harris Loewen. Find culture in the library

 

James A. Gibson Library offers hundreds and hundreds of books, hardcopy and digital, to college students and alumni. The library is also home to the Matheson Learning Commons. This dynamic, student-centered space can be found on the first floor. Get to know other students, exchange ideas and complete assignments here.

 

Community Learning opportunities

 

Help cultivate local culture by attending a conference or lecture or by participating in a group learning environment. Community Learning offers community members an opportunity to learn and engage with others. There are courses for all ages, from children to adults. Consider registering your child or children for a March Break program. These programs are open to youth grades 3 through 8.
