GreekFest will be from August 13th through 23rd. This cultural celebration is free to the public. The festival is held at 1315 Prince of Wales Drive, an eight-minute drive from Baseline Court Apartments.

Thousands of festivalgoers are expected to attend this year’s annual SouthAsianFest. The festival showcases South Asian culture through live performances, food vendors, art exhibitions and more. The event is running from August 13th through 15th, and held primarily at Ottawa City Hall (110 Laurier Avenue West), which is around a ten-minute drive from Baseline Court Apartments. Guests of all backgrounds and ages are invited to attend this free summer festival.

Torchlight Shakespeare Festival

All the world’s a stage this summer, or at least, all of Ottawa’s parks are a stage. The Torchlight Shakespeare Festival is presenting outdoor performances of Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors. The play is being performed by A Company of Fools, a professional Shakespeare company. August venues include Andrew Haydon Park (3169 Carling Avenue) on August 14th, which is a ten-minute drive from Baseline Court Apartments.

Arboretum Arts Festival

One of Ottawa’s newest arts festivals is the Arboretum Arts Festival. A self-proclaimed intimate and immersive boutique music festival, this event transforms historic sites to host outdoor concerts and events, alongside delicious food and drink. This year’s festival is from August 19th through 22nd at the Albert Island, and will include intentional dialogue about this important venue. Albert Island is located near the Canadian War Museum (1 Vimy Place), a 15-minute drive from Baseline Court Apartments.
