From pie eating contests to blueberry pancake breakfasts, the Greater Sudbury Blueberry Festival (7 Cedar Street) is a tasty event packed full of activities for the whole family. This festival happens annually during the third week of July and is only an eight-minute drive from our Commodor Apartments (1140 Ramsey View Court).
Do you enjoy mountain biking? Don’t miss the Pulse Racing’s Sudbury Canada Cup. There are races for all ages and all levels, from beginner to expert. The event happens one weekend only in July, on the Naughton Ski and Mountain Bike Trails (2 Denis Avenue). Enjoy a scenic twenty-minute drive from our Southend Apartments (1310 Nesbitt Drive) community to attend.
The Sudbury SummerFest happens in mid-August at Bell Park (555 Barrydowne Road). This free festival, which is a just over a ten minute drive from our Tiffany Place Apartments (44 Humber Court), features live music concerts of every genre, so you are sure to find a band you like.
Downtown Sudbury is a great place to find exciting events too. For example, RibFest on Labour Day weekend not only has ribs, but live music, merchandise and a children’s area. The downtown district is located within a ten-minute drive of all of our Sudbury Apartments. Proceeds from this event support the Canadian Red Cross.
