Easter Long Weekend in St. Catharines

Have you made plans with family and friends for the Easter long weekend in St. Catharines? Here at Panoramic Properties, we’ve created a snapshot of events happening throughout the city during the first long weekend of spring.

JCI St. Catharines (Jaycees) 26th Annual Easter Egg Hunt

This is an amazing tradition unique to the Niagara Region with over 50,000 mini chocolate eggs to be found. Held rain or shine, this free event is for kids ten and under (sorry Mom and Dad). There will be food concessions, bouncers and games as well as live entertainment and Easter-themed events. While the event is free, there is a suggested donation for admission is a loonie or one canned food item/participant. Non-perishable food items or cash donations will be collected at the gates in support of Community Care of St. Catharines & Thorold.

Hunt Times:
1-3 yrs old 10:00 am
4-6 yrs old 10:30 am
7-8 yrs old 11:00 am
9-10 yrs old 11:30 am

When: Saturday, March 30, 2013

Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs

Yes, you read that title right! The event has been held across Ontario since 1998 and is now one of the National Service Dogs’ Organization’s favourite events. In 2012, participants fundraised a total of $100,000. Even if you don’t have a dog, stop by the event to support this great cause and check out some adorable dogs.  Online registration and pledge collection is now live for the 2013 Hunt.
