It is not too late to join in the fun happening at the Anderson Farm Museum (550 Regional Road 24). Rock the Farm is underway for another season, this year featuring more musicians than ever before. Learn more about this event, happening near our Sudbury apartments, in today’s post from the blog team at Panoramic Properties.
Rock the Farm returns
Rock the Farm is a weekly event that runs through the summer months of July and August. Festivities include music from a unique lineup of local artists, a farmers’ market and arts and crafts. The Anderson Farm Museum Heritage Society sponsors this fun seasonal event.
Add Rock the Farm to this week’s schedule. Activities are held on Wednesday evenings at the Anderson Farm Museum, which is about a 15-minute drive from Southend Apartments (1310 Nesbitt Drive) in neighbouring Lively. The farmers’ market is open from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The free concert begins at 6:00 p.m. and continues until 8:00 p.m.
2015 Special features
This year marks the biggest year of Rock the Farm yet, with performances scheduled for every week of July and August. On August 26th, catch the Teen Battle of the Bands. This exciting special event will feature formed or newly formed bands with members age 13 through 19. The event is a competition that will be judged by musicians. The winning band will receive a recording session at a nearby studio.
