Snow Sports to try this winter

Just because the weather is getting cold, doesn’t mean you need to stop all physical activity and start hibernating. Sports-lovers can enjoy all of the seasons and the unique athletics that come along with them. The Panoramic Properties blog team has put together some information for our residents about snow sports to try this winter.

Skiing

Adanac Ski Hill (744 Beatrice Crescent) is just eleven minutes away from our Tiffany Place (1 & 44 Humber Court) apartments in Sudbury and is the perfect place to visit for winter sports. It is outfitted with ski equipment for rent, five runs and a double chair lift. The Outside Store (2140 Long Lake Road) is thirteen minutes away from this rental community and features all the sporting apparel you’ll need if you want to purchase your own.

Ice-skating

This winter, get your skates ready and head out to Ramsey Lake Skating Path (100 Ramsey Lake Road). Situated just two minutes away from our Nepahwin Villa community, (1904 Paris Street) this 1.5 kilometre trail is the perfect place to have fun while participating in a winter sport. Skater’s Edge Source for Sports (1113 Lasalle Boulevard) is also just thirteen minutes away from this rental property and is loaded with all the equipment you’ll need for ice-skating.

Tobogganing

Nothing could be more fun than bundling up in warm winter clothes and tobogganing down a hill trying to go faster each time. Adanac Ski Hill (744 Beatrice Crescent) also has perfect hill for this winter sport. Located less than fifteen minutes away from our Commodore Apartments, (1140 Ramsey View Court) it’s the perfect family-friendly place to visit.
