Is summer in Ottawa complete without a trip to RBC Bluesfest? Easily one of Ottawa’s biggest and most highly anticipated music festivals, Bluesfest is a must for all music lovers. Set in LeBreton Flats, this festival features notable headliners and attracts 300,000 visitors over 10 days. Expect huge acts like the Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews Band, Shawn Mendes, Sting, Van Morrison, The White Stripes and The Black Eyed Peas.
HOPE Volleyball Summerfest
HOPE (Helping Other People Everywhere) Volleyball Summerfest is North America’s largest one-day, outdoor beach volleyball tournament. It attracts more than 25,000 players and spectators every year! If volleyball isn’t your thing, rest assured there will also be a wide variety of entertainment and events featuring amazing artists. This is serious fun for a cause. Capital Ukranian Festival
From July 19th to 21st, experience legendary Ukrainian hospitality, culture, heritage, and cuisine in Ottawa. There’s so much to enjoy at the Capital Ukranian Festival— traditional singing, dancing and live music, an indulgent Ukrainian food village and beer garden, a fabulous artisan marketplace, cultural workshops and demonstrations, church tours and sacred music choirs and children’s activities!
House of PainT Festival
From August 23rd to 25th, get ready for House of PainT (HoP) Festival — the largest 4 elements hip hop jam in Canada. Expect amazing graffiti, breakdancing, DJs and MCs showcased through intense battles, captivating workshops, unforgettable performances and killer parties. This event represents the best in Canadian urban culture!
