As our Appliance Technician, your main focus is to diagnose, repair, and maintain appliances across our residential properties. You will help ensure appliances are safe, functional, and properly maintained, contributing to a positive living experience for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and repairing residential appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers;
- Completing appliance-related maintenance requests and work orders in occupied and vacant units;
- Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on appliances as required;
- Installing and replacing appliances in residential units;
- Identifying appliance issues and determining appropriate repair or replacement solutions;
- Maintaining accurate records of completed repairs and required parts;
- Ensuring all appliance repairs and installations are completed safely and to a high standard;
- Following all applicable health and safety procedures while completing assigned duties; and
- Completing other related duties within the scope of the role.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Previous experience in appliance repair, maintenance, or a similar role is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of diagnosing and repairing common residential appliances.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to manage assigned responsibilities.
- Must have a valid driver's licence.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, as required.
