As a Service Plumber, your main focus is to perform plumbing maintenance, repairs, and installations throughout our residential properties. You will help ensure plumbing systems are safe, functional, and well-maintained while providing timely and professional service to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures in residential units and common areas;
- Repairing and replacing faucets, toilets, sinks, drains, valves, pipes, and other plumbing components as required;
- Identifying and resolving leaks, clogs, drainage issues, and other plumbing concerns;
- Performing preventative maintenance and inspections of plumbing systems and equipment;
- Responding to plumbing-related service requests and completing repairs in a timely and professional manner;
- Assisting with plumbing installations and upgrades during unit renovations and property improvement projects;
- Identifying potential plumbing or water-related concerns and reporting required repairs or recommendations;
- Maintaining accurate records of completed work, materials used, and outstanding repairs when required;
- Ensuring tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a safe and organized condition;
- Following all applicable building codes, company procedures, and health and safety requirements; and
- Completing other related duties within the scope of the role.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Previous experience performing residential or commercial plumbing repairs and maintenance is required.
- Relevant plumbing certification, licence, or trade qualification is considered a strong asset.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, equipment, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Ability to diagnose plumbing issues and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to manage assigned service requests and responsibilities.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills when interacting with residents and team members.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule and respond to service requirements as needed.
