As our Superintendent, your main focus is to support the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and general upkeep of our residential properties. You will help ensure our properties are safe, clean, well-maintained, and provide a positive living experience for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Responding to resident inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a professional and timely manner;
• Performing minor maintenance repairs and reporting or coordinating larger maintenance needs;
• Conducting regular property inspections and identifying maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns;
• Maintaining the cleanliness and general upkeep of common areas, entrances, exterior spaces, and garbage areas;
• Assisting with unit turnovers, including inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs;
• Monitoring building systems, equipment, and amenities and reporting concerns as needed;
• Responding to emergency maintenance situations and participating in a rotating on-call schedule;
• Assisting with landscaping, snow removal, cleaning, and other seasonal property maintenance as required; and
• Completing other related duties within the scope of the role.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Superintendent, Building Manager, Property Caretaker, or in a similar role is considered an asset.
• General knowledge of building maintenance and minor repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver's licence.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule and participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
